What Is OldMeme?
OldMeme is a free, browser-based meme generator that lets you create memes from over 1000 templates or your own images — no account required. Templates are sourced from public APIs including Imgflip and Memegen.link.
The editor gives you multiple text layers — each with its own font, size, color, outline width, and shadow settings. You can also apply image filters (brightness, contrast, saturation, sepia, grayscale) to your base image. When you're done, download a clean HD PNG with zero watermarks.
An optional AI caption helper suggests funny text ideas based on your chosen template — great for when you need a starting point. The Projects feature lets you save your work to browser storage and return to it later.
